New Curtains!

I got some curtains from my mother-in-law, Tracie, a few weeks ago! They look all stripes, but there are pretty designs in them too. The middle of the big curtain I tried to sew myself. It was supposed to be wavy like the valances on the other window, to match, but I aint a seemstress! It turned out ok, just had to add a few pins here and there to complete the look. The over all effect it had on our living room was awesome! It's so homie now! I just love it! :) (P.S. Just ignore this dirty house, it had been a busy day!)

Revision

In a post I made earlier today I said "thank goodness" about not working at Gila Outdoor anymore. A friend brought to my attention that this sounded really mean. This is not how it was meant. Chance and I only have our truck and his motorcycle, making it quite hard to juggle between his work and mine, being that is is still a little too chilly for the motorcycle. Thank goodness that I don't have to worry about that added stress anymore was all that was meant. I liked working at Gila and had a lot of fun while I was there, and truely will miss it.

Howdy to all!!!Sorry it's been soooo long since I have updated this thing! We finally have internet out at our house! Wahoooo! Just wanted to share some info about whats been going on recently. Chance has been working for the mine in Globe for a couple of months now as a security guard/EMT, and is doing good! I no longer work at Gila Outdoor (thank goodness). And our dog Daisy is doing wonderfully since we found her in August of '09. She had her first time of being in heat a few months ago and gave us a puppy scare! No puppies though, so it's all good! Phew!

Here she is just hangin' out begging someone to play with her! She also has the cutest stinking smile...

Also, I tried my hand at home-made tootsie rolls a while ago. I think they looked like cat/bird poop! Considering Chance dislikes chocolate, but ate over half of these, I would call them pretty good though! :)

Lastly, this is the most recent picture of Chance and me that I have... and it came from the Hathcock Reunion in August! (Thanks to Rachel for talking him into getting his picture taken!)
